Luke Sital-Singh ‘Fail For You’

Luke Sital-Singh is possibly one of the most exciting new artist I’ve heard in quite a while, regardless of  genre. I’m just going to put that out there. Hailing from New Malden in South West London (apparently, also birthplace of folk legend John Martyn….who knew eh!) he is one of only a few new singer songwriters breathing life into what has become quite on over saturated side of the industry! Finding inspiration in the likes of Bob Dylan, Joni Mitchell and Damian Rice he is producing songs of highest caliber, with true integrity and clear intelligence in his lyrics, melody and song structure. ‘Fail For You‘ showcases Luke’s beautiful vocal ability, reminiscent of Bon Iver in it’s (seeming) simplicity and use of multi-layer harmonies, and the delicate Keaton Henson esq guitar part. All absolutely effortless in delivery. The over all sound of the track is totally enveloping. His brand new video, which is filmed at sunrise is the perfect visual reflection on this stunning song.  Like the sun, this track lifts throughout and builds in warmth. Sorry if this all sounds a bit shmaltzy, but it’s hard not to get too carried away when describing this track! On a wet day in August this is the perfect remedy. Take a watch/listen below and share the love.

Luke is touring over the next few months, so no excuse not to get your tickets a go see him live. Find out more here www.lukesitalsingh.com/live
