A particularly miserable day in London today. A low mist has shrouded the tops of the surrounding buildings, and it feels officially autumnal. Feeling cosy however in my low light office I stumbled across what is quite simply the musical cure for such a day. Fever, by Londoners Low Moon Low is as uplifting as it is serine. I was captivated by the Bon Iver esq vocals on the first verse driven by a steady rhythm and intelligent instrumental structures and melody. It reminds me in parts of Bombay Bicycle Club with touches of Editors and The Temper Trap passing through the Two Door Cinema Club. It’s great British music that is genuine and well crafted. Take a listen below and embrace the Fever….so to speak. Their next gig will be at The Bedroom Bar in Shoreditch on 9th November. Listen, share, enjoy……and go like ’em on Facebook too.
